Datolite freeform 20x16mm pendant. Yellow with small matrix inclusions at the edge. Datolite is a borosilicate mineral associated with the native copper deposits in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula. The characteristic ‘cauliflower’ shaped nodules range from 1 -12 inches in size. The whites and pinks are the usual colors and the rarest colors a yellow, orange, green and red. Occasionally there can be flecks of copper or silver in the stones.
