Under ultraviolet illumination, the mineral sodalite will fluoresce. Creating glowing yellow/ orange veins.
One of the newest discoveries in the Lake Superior region in 2017. Discovered first in the Grand Maris Michigan area and since then fluorescent sodalite mixes have been found on all 5 Great Lakes. All of our featured pieces were hand picked from the Keweenaw Peninsula.
