"Oxidized Splash" Copper
   No two are alike and the shapes are open to many different visual interpretations.
Splash Copper Sculptures are made by pouring molten copper at 2200 degrees Fahrenheit into trays filled with water and straw. When the shapes are cooled, a green or turquoise colored chemical patina is applied, then highlights are buff polished to expose the glowing solid copper and sealed to prevent tarnishing.
